I asked if you would post a picture of yourself and if not why?
No, I will not post a picture of me. I will not post a picture of Cat. I will not post a picture of us. I will not post a picture of my scars, friends, loved ones… or anything else that makes me uncomfortable. I didn’t answer this question because I get this question more than any other and I’ve answered it time and time again, I won’t post one. I have no problem with self confidence and Cat is beautiful and confident as well, but I am more protective over her privacy, and her in general, than I am over mine. Also, I like to maintain this blog as a place where I can freely share my experiences and my writing. If I posted a picture I wouldn’t be as comfortable, honest, and open… I like things the way they are. This question sort of bothers me because I get it so much. I don’t see why it is so critical and pressing for me to post a picture when I share so much of every other aspect of who I am here. Plus, there is potential for a lot of creeps on the internet and when you put your face with your experiences and life, well, that could be a very scary combination. I like to keep my tumblr as my little internet sanctuary.
