Male privilege is the concept of being “whipped.” There is no equivalent for women because no one seems to care when they see a man controlling a woman’s life. Also “whipped” is used for dumb things that have nothing to do with control. “He can’t go to the game because he has to go with her to her family reunion, he’s so whipped,” even if he’s been committed to the reunion for months. Despite what men say “whipped” usually has nothing to do with being in controlled by a woman, but the fact that she isn’t under his control, that he shows some respect for her, or occasionally does something she asks of him.
